为客观分析国际水稻稻瘟病研究的发展动态,了解我国稻瘟病研究水平及与世界先进水平的差距,为水稻病害科研工作者和决策者制订稻瘟病研究策略提供参考依据,采用了Web of Science引文数据库,对1910~2011年间该库收录的水稻稻瘟病研究文献居世界前10位的国家、科研机构、期刊以及高被引作者等进行了计量分析。结果表明,检索获得该期间发表的水稻稻瘟病研究文献10 407篇,以美国、日本、中国、菲律宾、韩国、德国、法国、英国、印度及荷兰为世界稻瘟病研究十强,国际水稻研究所(IRRI)在稻瘟病研究中占有明显优势。美国在期刊、研究机构、作者等方面均占据了绝对优势。我国浙江大学和中国科学院位于高发文机构前10名。中国在稻瘟病研究中高被引论文数量与发文总量所处的地位不相称,缺少高水平研究论文的现象值得注意。水稻稻瘟病研究的热点领域是对抗性基因以及分子标记等研究。由此可进一步证明,Web of Science是了解世界范围内稻瘟病领域发展动态的重要数据库。但由于该数据库的“精品”特性,以及对英语来源文献的偏好性,要了解非英语来源文献所代表国家的相应学科发展动态,还应辅以其它相应数据库。
In order to objectively analyze the development of rice blast research in the world, understand the level of rice blast research in China and its gap with the world advanced level, and provide a reference for rice disease researchers and decision-makers to develop rice blast research strategies. Web of Science Citation Database, from 1910 to 2011 included in the library of rice blast research literature in the world top 10 countries, research institutes, periodicals and highly cited authors were measured. The results showed that there were 10 407 literatures on rice blast blasting published in this period, with the United States, Japan, China, the Philippines, South Korea, Germany, France, Britain, India and the Netherlands as the top 10 rice blast research institutes in the world, (IRRI) has a clear advantage in blast research. The United States occupies an absolute superiority in journals, research institutes and authors. Zhejiang University and the Chinese Academy of Sciences are located in the top 10 institutions of higher education. The high number of cited papers in China in the blast research is disproportionate to the status of the total number of articles published. The lack of high-level research papers is noteworthy. The research hotspot of rice blast is the study of resistance genes and molecular markers. This further proves that Web of Science is an important database for understanding the development of rice blast in the world. However, due to the “boutique” characteristics of the database and its preference for English-sourced documents, it is necessary to understand the developments of relevant disciplines in countries represented by non-English-sourced documents and to include other relevant databases.
