With the ever-changing world of drilling industry affecting the world, well integrity has become a focus and development area for great projects. Cement cementation analysis is a major concern in partially completed or unsuccessful results. Cementing operations are at least costly in drilling operations and at worst cause extremely dangerous safety incidents. Wire and cable sonic cable tools have traditionally been used as tools for analyzing the quality of cementitious bonding between casing and formations. Cable tools used to determine well integrity have been developed in the use of high quality cement cements many years. However, the delivery method is required to be performed on critical paths, with additional methods being used for high-angle well operations. LWD technology provides a potential alternative without these issues, understanding the limitations of the current process provided, as an assessment of the suitability of the solution for the purpose.
