16S~23S rDNA区间序列是继16S rRNA后又一分类及鉴别细菌的新方法,它集保守性和可变性于一身,不但可用以菌种间鉴别,还可用来分辨16S rRNA不能鉴别的非常接近的菌种和种内菌株之间鉴别。16S rRNA的区域2和23S rRNA的区域10是构建区间序列的最好引物,已广泛用于菌种及菌株的鉴别。
