对于高中阶段的学生而言,英语阅读能力是一种最为基本的能力,也是学生英语综合能力的一个重要的组成部分。然而,一提到英语阅读,很多学生便会愁眉不展,抱怨看不懂英语文章、不知道文章在讲什么等等。其实,一个很重要的原因便是他们的知识面非常狭窄。本文将结合高中阶段学生的实际英语学习状况,并以译林出版社出版的牛津高中英语教学为例,探讨如何帮助学生通过扩大知识面的方式来有效提高他们的英语阅读能力。
For senior high school students, English reading ability is one of the most basic ability, but also an integral part of students’ English comprehensive ability. However, when it comes to reading in English, many students will be frowning, complaining about reading English articles, not knowing what the articles are saying and so on. In fact, a very important reason is that their knowledge is very narrow. This article will be based on the actual situation of senior high school English learning and Oxford High School English Language Teaching published as an example to explore how to help students through the expansion of knowledge of ways to effectively improve their English reading ability.
