Strong noise caused by cochlear and vestibular damage has been confirmed by previous studies, but the symptoms of acoustic vestibular trauma is often vague, easily confused with certain diseases, there is no sensitive method for diagnosis. A new method has recently been able to sensitively analyze the vestibular system quantitatively. The authors apply posturography or body-shake measurement. Vestibular function was examined in a group of patients with prolonged exposure to impulsive noise and with noisy deafness but no evidence of vestibular symptoms. The object is 60 soldiers. The control group of 115 healthy adults without exposure to noise, pure tone hearing normal. The method of body shape mapping refers to the gravity plate technique. The parameters are: full center of gravity shift, absolute mean shift along X, Y axis, offset in each quadrant of the platform. Results: Nervous system examination was normal.
