汉代的葵即《神农本草经》冬葵子,其原植物应为锦葵科的蜀葵Althaea rosea,并非锦葵Malva sinensis和野葵M.verticillata。
In the Han Dynasty, Kwai, the “Shen Nong’s Materia Medica”, was the mallow’s hollyho Althaea rosea, not Malva sinensis and M. verticillata.
