晚明徽商汪然明颇具盛名,与众多闻名遐迩的书画家有频繁的往来。其自身所具有的书画才能、收藏爱好及所属丛睦坊汪氏家族乃至整个徽商的艺术收藏,为文人士大夫如钱谦益、祁彪佳等所关注,从而为其荐举才姝作了有力铺垫。而诸多才女所具有的非凡的诗文、书画才能,让汪然明不惜一切代价倾心交往,热心扶助,以至赢得“黄衫豪客”、“风雅典型”之美名。汪然明对晚明才妹群体的兴盛,具有重要的典型意义。
