It is inconvenient and inaccurate to visually inspect the butt inclination and eccentricity of large-diameter steel electroslag pressure submerged arc welding. A simple inspection ruler can be used for inspection. The ruler is made of 2 mm thick steel plate or pentahedron. The structure is shown in Figure 1. AB in Figure 1, is a movable scale, ∠AOB is approximately
