毛泽东发起全民学雷锋活动,源于改造中国人思想道德的宏伟目标,是把马克思主义思想灌输成为民族精神核心的重大举措。毛泽东选择在1963年发起全民学雷锋活动,与当时的困难形势、社会主义教育运动的开展以及毛泽东对社会主义前途的思考密切相关。思想道德改造是毛泽东不懈探索而又未竟的事业,今天我们仍然需要把这项事业推向前进。雷锋精神是建设社会主义核心价值体系的丰厚资源,还要大力弘扬雷锋精神。
Mao Zedong initiated the All-China Leifeng Campaign from the magnificent goal of transforming Chinese ideology and morals and is a major move to inculcate Marxism into the core of the national spirit. Mao Zedong’s decision to launch the all-people Lei Feng campaign in 1963 was closely related to the current difficult situation, the launching of the socialist education campaign and Mao’s thinking on the future of socialism. Ideological and moral reform is an untiring exploration and unfinished business of Mao Zedong. Today, we still need to push this cause forward. The spirit of Lei Feng is a rich resource for building a socialist core value system, and the spirit of Lei Feng should be vigorously promoted.
