“Chinese Curriculum Standard” states: “Students should have the basic ability of daily oral communication, learn to listen, express and communicate in various communicative activities, and initially learn to communicate civilizedly and interpersonally and develop cooperation spiritually.” Oral communication is an important part of Chinese ability. However, the relaxed and lively oral communication class, which was originally close to life, has inadvertently changed into a dignified and stressful “talk class.” Children are generally not interested in oral communication, lack of desire for communication, really puzzling. Then, as a front-line teacher, how can we make some efforts to change this situation? The author believes that Mr. Tao Xingzhi’s “life education” theory can give us some inspiration.
