进入21世纪以来,高职教育发展迅猛,高职院校学生的数量越来越多,而国际和国内的就业竞争压力也变得日益严峻,一些用人单位对高职毕业生的英语应用能力的要求越来越高,在进行招聘时,也会重视英语水平。但每年新入校的高职学生都存在英语高考成绩普遍很低的现象,在英语学习方面的主要问题表现为基础弱、学习积极性不高、缺乏良好的学习习惯、缺乏自主学习的能力,丧失学习信心、产生厌学情绪等。但英语作为提高学生综合素质的一门必修课程,在提升大学生文化素质中显得越来越重要。本文结合笔者教学改革的实践经验,阐述教师如何激发和培养高职学生英语学习的兴趣,从而增强教师的教学效果和学生的学习效果,达到双赢。

However, as a compulsory course to improve students’ comprehensive quality, English is more and more important in improving the cultural quality of college students. Based on the author’s practical experience in teaching reform, this article expounds how teachers can stimulate and cultivate the interest of English students in higher vocational education so as to enhance teachers ’teaching effect and students’ learning effect and achieve a win-win situation.
