This paper, based on the perspective of cultivating students ’cultural literacy, considers Chinese teaching practice. With the continuous deepening of quality education, taking students as the foundation and highlighting the development of students’ subjective qualities as the main tasks of Chinese teaching in junior high schools, as one of the core qualities of students, cultural literacy has drawn more and more attention from teachers. Junior high school language teachers should change the narrow thinking of examination-oriented education, based on the cultivation of students’ cultural literacy, and actively explore the beginning
