21世纪是一个信息时代和网络的时代。教育信息化是中国教育实现跨越式发展的必经之路,基础教育的改革必须借助于现代教育技术的渗透来实现。以多媒体和网络技术为特征的信息技术的发展,给当今中学英语教学改革带来了契机,特别对农村中学英语教学提供了尤为重要的平台。信息技术与中学英语教学的整合,给中学英语教学注入新的生机和活力,丰富课堂教学形式,优化教学过程,拓展了课后作业,从而更有效地培养学生的语言综合运用能力。
The 21st century is an era of information and network. Informationization of education is the only way to achieve leapfrog development of Chinese education. The reform of basic education must be realized by means of the infiltration of modern educational technology. The development of information technology, which is characterized by multimedia and network technology, brings opportunities to the current English teaching reform in secondary schools and provides a particularly important platform for English teaching in rural middle schools. The integration of information technology and English teaching in middle school has injected new vigor and vitality into English teaching in middle schools, enriched classroom teaching forms, optimized the teaching process and expanded after-school assignments so as to more effectively cultivate students’ ability to use language comprehensively.
