今年在筹备纪念北京大学民盟组织成立50周年活动期间,常听到北大的一些同志说起自己是在民盟前辈老师们的人格魅力感召下入盟的,其实这也是我加入民盟的重要原因之一。早年我就十分敬仰民盟前辈闻一多、李公朴先生为人民民主和解放而壮烈献身的感人事迹。而在1959年考入北京大学历史系以后,我的几位老师邓广铭教授、周一良教授、邵循正教授、陈庆华教授、张芝联教授,恰巧都是民盟盟员,而且都是中外著名的历史学家、各个史学领域的权威专家。他们的言教、身教和学问道德、人格魅力给了我很大的影响。如今回忆起来,几位恩师的音容笑貌,依然犹如眼前。

After I was admitted to the Department of History of Peking University in 1959, several of my teachers, Professor Deng Guangming, Professor Zhou Yiliang, Professor Shao Xunzheng, Professor Chen Qinghua and Professor Zhang Zhilian, happened to be allied members of the League of Nations, all of whom are famous Chinese and foreign historians , The authoritative experts in all fields of history. Their teaching, teaching and learning ethics, personality charm gave me a great influence. Now recalled, a few mentor sound and smile, still like eyes.
