每年的六月至十月,西南的季风都为泰国带来雨季,气候逐渐转凉。这里的西南雨和故乡台湾的西北雨相比,更像是情绪变幻无常的任性孩子。上午还是万里晴空,下午突然就乌云密布,大雨急剧而至。不过,这种热带雨季是极富魅力和惹人遐想的,只有身临其境方能体会。这日,我在返家途中忽遇倾盆大雨,疾风劲雨摇荡着路旁挺拔葱绿的棕榈树和椰子树,突降的雨声掩盖了市井原先的嘈杂喧嚣。行人和路边的小贩们急忙躲雨。
From June to October every year, monsoons in the southwest bring rainy weather to Thailand and the climate turns cooler. The southwestern rain here is more like a capricious and fickle wayward child than the northwesterly rain of Taiwan’s hometown. In the morning or thousands of miles clear sky, the afternoon suddenly cloudy, heavy rains arrived. However, this tropical rainy season is very attractive and reverie, and it can only be experienced on the face of it. Today, I was in the process of returning home on a rainy day, and the winds and waves shook the lush green palms and coconut trees on the roadside. The sudden drop of rain covered the original noise of the marketplace. Pedestrians and roadside hawkers hurried to take shelter.
