安藤忠雄曾说,“建筑是生活的原点,或者说是生活的容器。”它承载着居住者的印记,既有传统的留存,又融入现代生活的感受,赋予了居住空间独特的DNA。建筑、室内设计师作为空间的缔造者,在一个个的项目中,“拿捏”着合适的素材,构建着不同的设计理想,并企图让落成的建筑具有“对话”的功能。也就是说,一座建筑必须能在建构过程中承载设计师的设计梦想,预演未来使用者可能的居住体验,并成长为有机的生命体。自此,它将远远超越“居有屋”这一最质朴的愿望,成为如安藤忠雄所言的,“建筑是能够被一般人所理解并产生共鸣,同时又能超越一般人的想象的,这样的创造才能被称为建筑。”
