In early 20o0, the British Ministry of Trade and Industry (DTI) and China International Center for Economic and Technological Exchange signed a CBM technology exchange program. At present, the work on the first phase of the project has been completed. The research report of Xi’an Branch of China Coal Research Institute has been fully affirmed by the British side. The second phase was launched earlier this year. It is intended to conduct comprehensive research and monitoring of key mining areas in China’s abandoned coal mines by drawing on relevant UK technologies.
