The 88-year-old China Veterans Veteran Liu Zhaohui (center), who has lived in Myanmar for more than 60 years, has finally returned to Taojiagou Village, Yumin Town, Yuechi County, Guang’an City, Sichuan Province to reunite with his family. In Myanmar, tens of thousands of remains of expeditionary Chinese soldiers are still missing. It has been 66 years since the war ended. This piece of exotic land floating with the souls of tens of thousands of Chinese soldiers remains a blank space in the memory of almost all the Chinese people. No one knows, in the deep forests, whether there are surviving veterans, waiting, waiting for us to pick him up.
