HP reorganized its sales and management channel on its Computer Organization on May 19 and disrupted the original organization. The new Computer Sales and Distribution group, to be headed by HP Vice President Richard Watts, will lead all sales activities, including HP products on different platforms. HP also set up three Internt Group: Internet Technology Group, responsible for HP’s comprehensive Internet strategy; business enterprise expansion, responsible for HP’s e-commerce technology; HP Support Services replaced the previous Worldwide Customer Support Operations and Professional Services Organization. And Verifone continues as an independent company responsible for e-commerce applications and credit card reading devices.
