华东政法学院原系中华人民共和国司法部部属高等政法院校之一,现为中央与上海市共建院校。校园位于上海市中心城区,苏州河畔,毗邻中山公园。学校占地面积约220亩。1952年6月,经华东军政委员会批准,华东政法学院由原圣约翰大学、复旦大学、南京大学、东吴大学、厦门大学、沪江大学、安徽大学等9所院校的法律系、政治系和社会系等合并组建成立。其后由于历史原因,于1958年和1972年两度
East China University of Politics and Law was originally the Ministry of Justice of the People’s Republic of China, one of the higher political and legal institutions, is now the central government and Shanghai to build colleges and universities.
