Ningxia Water Resources Department by the Department of Soil and Water Conservation, Ningxia Agricultural College of Water Resources, the Yellow River Hydropower Research Institute and other units undertaken by Yang Wa water fall dam polyethylene microporous corrugated tubular drainage test research project recently put forward research results and through technical appraisal. The Yangwa Water Fall Test Dam is located in a small watershed of Pengyang County with a control area of 10.58km ~ 2, a maximum dam height of 37m and a total storage capacity of 2,862,000 m3, with a total earth volume of 206,300 m3, of which Chong Fill the amount of 130,500 m ~ 3. The experimental dam started in April 1987 and was completed in early November 1989
