把加热和保温后的工件先投入水中冷却,使其温度急速降至300℃以下,然后将工件从水中取出,迅速转入油中缓慢冷却。在上述淬火过程中,因使用两种淬火剂,故称双液淬火。这种淬火方法既减少了工件变形与淬裂的可能,又可保证工件具有较高的硬度。 掌握双液淬火的关键在于工件停留在水中冷却的时间。在水中停留时间过长,便失去了后阶段缓冷的意义;在水中停留时间过短。又会产生硬度不足的毛病。现向大家推荐几种掌握在水中停留时间的方法:
