为落实《全民科学素质行动计划纲要》和《北京市全民科学素质建设工作方案》,普及科学知识、提高全民科学文化素质,北京市科协于2007年创办首届科普动漫创意大赛,每年举办一届。大赛旨在以喜闻乐见、生动活泼的动漫形式传播科学知识,提高全民素质,搭起艺术与科普结合的桥梁;挖掘科普动漫创作人才,丰富科普资源库;推动企业自主创新,培育中华民族科普品牌。
