Stepping into ancient Xi’an is like being transported back thirteen dynasties when the Zhou,Qin,Han and Tang dynasties ruled.The omnipresent past still lingers throughout certain neighborhoods in this former capital city.A must-see spot for visitors is the Huifang Community.Here one stumbles upon ancient residences,cultural relics,folk house gems and can experience plain and simple folk customs first hand.Vividly displaying the rich cultural legacy of Xi’an,Huifang features a meandering thatch of pedestrian friendly streets,three of them for local snacks,the other three for purchasing local goods.
