The transceiver discussed in this article is a summary of more than two years of development and design work. The purpose is to provide a transceiver that can be tuned over a 2-meter (144-146 MHz) range, with single sideband frequency modulation and CW output with peak envelope power of 10-20 watts. In order to avoid some people think that the difficulty of the crystal transformation and passband filter adjustment, the authors decided to create the first single-sideband 10MHz FM receiver. Low cost and easy to get block crystal filter. The transceiver is used almost daily for three years, giving the author ample opportunity to test the reliability, ease of operation and long-term stability of the design.
