Increasing competition in the scanner market has prompted scanner vendors to further segment their markets and optimize products for each market’s different characteristics. The recently announced HP ScanJet 5300C Scanner (hereafter referred to as SJ5300C), a PCWeek (China) lab recently tested, is a mid-range scanner targeted at SOHO users’ daily business offices and has been designed to do the job.
