Democracy is the common political ideal of mankind and the relentless pursuit of the Chinese Communists. The rule of law institutionalizes and legalizes democracy and provides a solid guarantee for the realization of democracy. Democracy and the rule of law are mutually reinforcing and indivisible. Democracy and the rule of law are the objectives and basic contents of building a socialist political civilization in China and are the wings of realizing the dream of China.
