今 年,深圳市政府为民办十件实事,其中头等大事,就是建造梅林水厂。现在深圳市自来水公司每天供水约八十万吨,基本上能满足工业和民用的需求。然而,随着鹏城人口的增多,投资规模的扩大,预计到今年年底全市每天对水的需求将达到一百万吨左右,形势逼人。然而,梅林水厂首期工程一旦完成,就能确保每天向市区供水总和达到 一百一 十万吨,届时,缺水之患就能得到合理的解决。
This year, the Shenzhen Municipal Government has established 10 practical projects for the people. The top priority is the construction of the Meilin Water Plant. Now the Shenzhen Water Supply Company supplies about 800,000 tons of water per day, which basically meets the needs of industrial and civilian use. However, with the increase in Pengcheng’s population and the expansion of investment, it is expected that the city’s daily demand for water will reach about one million tons by the end of this year, and the situation is pressing. However, once the first phase of the Meilin Water Plant has been completed, it will ensure that the total water supply to the urban areas will reach 1.1 million tons per day. By then, water shortages will be properly resolved.
