The establishment of the Labor Health Management Team of the Chinese Preventive Medicine Association and the First Academic Conference was held in Dalian in mid-May 1990. Representatives attending the conference included 65 representatives from 23 provinces, cities, autonomous regions and 28 industrial sectors. Professor Liu Shijie, Vice President of the Chinese Preventive Medicine Association, attended the opening ceremony and gave a speech; Prof. Gangyi Qi, Chairman of the Chinese Association of Occupational Hygiene and Occupational Diseases, announced the decision made by the school team and made a speech.
