党的十四届六中全会决议要求“在全国范围形成物质文明建设和精神文明建设协调发展的良好局面”。这种良好局面体现的就是社会美。 物质文明美包含物质产品的丰盛美、质量美,社会生活的富裕美、质量美,生活环境的清洁美、宁静美、祥和美。 精神文明美包括人的内在心灵美、外在行为美、交际语言美。 心灵美、外在行为美是社会个体、集体伦理道德所焕发出的美,本文重点阐述的是个体,社会主义社会有自己不同于以往道德价值取向、道德规范,但它的最基本的社会细胞仍然是个体,社会主义精神文明最终还是体现在构成这一社会的无数个体的充分自觉基础上。 关于时代精神、革命精神同中国数千年文化道德传统的完美结合,已有毛泽东、刘少奇、邓小平等一系列著作和论述,今有党的十四届六中全会的专题决议,全面论述了精神文明的理论基础和丰富的内涵。本文所阐述的,则是精神文明的个体审美理想、审美形态、审美范畴。
