宁夏地矿局第二矿产地质调查队近年来开展1:5万区域地质调查工作中,在内蒙阿左旗西碱窝子井首次发现优质海相石膏矿。该矿赋存于下石炭统前黑山组碎屑岩—碳酸盐岩建造内,其产状与围岩一致。矿体呈似层状及凸镜状,走向近东西,长约500米,厚度6—53米不等。矿石具晶质粒状结构,块状构造。石膏质量好,多为一级品,CaSO_4·2H_2O含量在90％左右。该矿与宁夏中卫县小红山—甘塘石膏矿床形成的地质条件相同,含矿层位一致,是同一成膏盆地的产物。 Ningxia Bureau of Geology and Mineral Resources Second Mineral Geological Survey team in recent years to carry out 1: 50000 regional geological survey work, in Inner Mongolia Ah Zuoqi West alkali Wozi wells first discovered high-quality marine gypsum ore. The deposit occurs in the Lower Carboniferous clastic rock-carbonate formation in the Lower Carboniferous, and its occurrence is consistent with the surrounding rock. The ore body is layered and convex mirror-like, to the east-west, about 500 meters long, 6-53 meters in thickness. Ore with crystalline granular structure, block structure. Good quality gypsum, mostly for the first grade, CaSO_4 · 2H_2O content of about 90%. The ore and the Xiahongshan - Gan Tong gypsum deposit in Zhongwei County of Ningxia have the same geological conditions and contain the same ore-bearing beds and are the products of the same Chengbao basin.
