矿床勘探方法研究通常包括勘探网度、勘探精度和勘探程度研究等三个方面的内容。勘探精度是以各种地质勘探参数的误差衡量的,它的研究内容包括勘探误差的来源、性质、变化规律等。矿床勘探程度或储量勘探程度包括的内容很多,诸如矿床产状、形态、大小、内部结构及有用组分的空间分布和变化特征,矿石开采技术条件等方面的研究详细程度。勘探程度定量评价通常也是以助探误差来表征的,如储量圈定误差及主要勘探参数的误差等。可见,勘探精度是勘探程度和勘探工作质量评价的重要依据之一。勘探网度则是决定勘探精度
