1997年3月14日至16日,南开大学日本研究中心在日本国际交流基金赞助下,成功地举办了“日本历史与现状再探讨”学术研讨会。这是我中心1988年成立以来首次主办的大型日本研究学术会议。国内大专院校、科研机构和新闻出版单位的89位代表出席了本次会议,它们来自北京大学、北京外国语大学、天津工程运输学院、辽宁大学、东北财经大学、大连外国语大学、东北民族学院、吉林大学、东北师范大学、内蒙古大学、复旦大学、杭州大学、国务院国际问题研究中心、中国社会科学院世界历史研究所、日本研究所、中国国际问题研究所、现代国际关系研究所、天津市社会科学院日本研究所、天津市现代日本研究所、上海市社会科学院欧亚研究所、中国社会科学出版社、上海译文出版社、中国社会科学杂志
From March 14 to March 16, 1997, the Japan Research Center of Nankai University successfully held “Symposium on Revisiting Japanese History and Present Conditions” under the auspices of Japan Foundation for International Exchanges. This is the first large-scale Japanese research conference hosted by our center since its establishment in 1988. 89 representatives of domestic universities, research institutes and press and publication units attended the conference. They came from Peking University, Beijing Foreign Studies University, Tianjin College of Engineering and Transportation, Liaoning University, Dongbei University of Finance and Economics, Dalian University of Foreign Languages, Northeast Nationalities University, Jilin University, Northeast Normal University, Inner Mongolia University, Fudan University, Hangzhou University, State Council International Studies Center, Chinese Academy of Social Sciences World History Institute, Japan Institute, China Institute of International Studies, Institute of Contemporary International Relations, Tianjin Academy of Social Sciences Japan Institute, Tianjin Institute of Modern Japanese Studies, Eurasian Institute of Shanghai Academy of Social Sciences, China Social Sciences Publishing House, Shanghai Translation Publishing House, China Social Science Magazine
