Virginia is representative of all colonies in British North America. It is the Royal Crown Colony and the State Church colonial, but it is the first to implement the system of representation, with the “Mayflower Convention” constitutes the two cornerstones of the United States system; it is British North American colonies “The First Continental Conference ”The birthplace of the“ Religious Freedom Act ”and the“ Bill of Rights ”were the blueprint for the reference of other colonial and even U.S. federal constitutions. The founding fathers of the United States, such as George Washington, James Madison, Thomas Jefferson, George Mason and Patrick Henry, have also been nurtured on this land. Therefore, the study of Virginia in the colonial era is of great significance in understanding the origins of the United States from colonialism to independence and then in grasping the founding of the United States.
