毗邻107国道,距正定县城4公里的木庄村,近几年在全国小有名气。全村936户,仅个体私营企业就达758家,占总户的82%,其中年产值百万元以上的20余家,50万元以上的70余家。1996年,全村工农业总产值突破亿元关,其中个体私营企业年产值达9000万元,已经成为木庄村经济发展的生力军,初步形成了“户户机器响,人人有活干,男人跑业务,女人当老板”的生产格局。木庄村的个体私营企业源于铁芯业,起步于1967年,由于当时的社会环境,只有几户农民利用生产队废弃的几台手摇冲床偷偷摸摸,小打小闹,从业人员不足20人。84年以后,在党的富民政策的感召下,农民的商品意识逐步增强,个体经济得到较快发展。到92年底,全村拥有个体私营企业300余家,年产值达到3000万元。
