One of the basic concepts pursued by the new high school mathematics curriculum is to enrich students ’learning styles, improve students’ learning methods, enable students to learn and lay a good foundation for lifelong learning and lifelong development, and asking questions is a prerequisite for students to learn to learn. In addition, teachers regard the students’ questions as teaching feedback and improve the teaching content. Based on the current situation of students’ questions, this article explores the reasons why students are afraid to ask questions and puts forward some countermeasures to motivate students to ask questions in order to adapt to the new curriculum standards and quality education
