夏洛蒂·勃朗特的著名代表作《简·爱》塑造了一位带有自传色彩的女主人公简·爱的形象,简·爱敢于反抗19世纪依然占有主流地位的男权思想,勇敢地追寻独立、自由、平等,正是这种孜孜不倦的追寻使简·爱完成了从自卑到自尊的蜕变,获得了渴望已久、缺失已久的幸福感。本文将在细读《简·爱》文本的基础上,结合夏洛蒂·勃朗特的人生经历,解读这部颇具自传性色彩的小说中女主人公的幸福感。
Charlotte Bronte’s famous masterpiece, Jane Eyre, shaped the image of Jane Eyre, a heroine with autobiographical qualities. Jane Eyre resisted the ideology of patriarchal still occupying the mainstream status in the 19th century, courageously Pursuing independence, freedom and equality, it is this tireless pursuit that has enabled Jane Eyre to complete her transformation from inferiority to self-esteem, gaining a long-awaited, long-lost happiness. On the basis of reading “Jane Eyre” and combining with Charlotte Bronte’s life experiences, this article will interpret the heroine’s happiness in this highly autobiographical novel.
