《Circulation(循环)》中发表的文章亦是如此。
Only a few clinical or biomedical researchers have received formal training in biostatistics. Most readers assume that articles published in journals have been reviewed by reviewers and editors in detail on various aspects of manuscripts, including statistical methods. However, this is not the case. Reviewers of biomedical literature often find that the statistical methods used by about half of the articles are incorrect. This is also true of articles published in the Circulation. An analysis of the statistical methods used in the original article of the Circulation from July to December 1977 showed that 27% of the articles used statistical methods that were incorrect; 44% of the respondents used statistical calculations with errors.
