The post-1949 film and television industry in Hong Kong appeared quite different from each other, and Shaw’s official magazine Southern Films made such an introduction in 1958 to actress Lothar defected from the left “Great Wall” company : “Lottie’s intellectual misguidance over the past few years has affected her artistic accomplishments, but she recently retired to a lineup of freelancers and vowed to work under the mercury lamp for democracy and freedom.” On the one hand, the left-wing company led by “Changfeng New” has sincerely accepted the leadership of the Mainland. After the reform and opening up, the left-wing Zhongyuan Hong Kong filming the “Shaolin Temple” at the suggestion of Liao Chengzhi, Director of Hong Kong and Macau Affairs Office, unexpectedly obtained Great success.
