TGase3即表皮型转谷氨酰胺酶(Epidermal- type transglutaminase),又称TGM3,是转谷氨酰胺酶家族的主要成员之一,是一种Ca~(2+)依赖性蛋白酶,主要功能是参与角质化细胞的终末分化过程,可通过催化赖氨酸残基e-NH2与谷氨酸残基γ-酰胺间异肽键的形成来进行蛋白质翻译后的修饰。近年来的研究发现,TGase3在某些肿瘤中的活性和表达水平下调,这可能和肿瘤的发生相关,特别是食管癌的发生发展,因此受到越来越多的关注。
