目前在齿轮制齿工艺中,滚齿加工仍占着很大的比重,而且是应用最广泛、最主要的切齿方法。据估计,全世界约有75%的圆柱齿轮用滚齿法加工的。几个主要工业国家的滾齿机的拥有量约占其齿轮加工机床的1/2以上;而它与揷齿机的拥有量之比又大于1/2。多年来如何提高滾齿效率,降低滾齿成本,就一直成为各国齿轮研究工作者的努力方向。下面为滾齿机动时间(T)的计算式:
At present gear hobbing process, hobbing still occupy a large proportion, but also the most widely used, the most important method of gear cutting. It is estimated that about 75% of the world’s spur gears are hobbed. Gear hobbing machines in some of the major industrialized countries account for more than a half of their gear-processing machine tools; and the ratio of their ownership to gear machines is greater than one-half. How to improve the hobbing efficiency and reduce the hobbing cost over the years has always been the direction of the researchers in all countries.
