衡量一张新闻照片的好坏,一方面要看它的题材是不是积极的、革命的,是否符合革命实践和体现党在各个时期的方针政策,这是照片的灵魂;但是另一方面也要看它的形式是否能很好地为内容服务,是否能充分地,鲜明地揭示主题思想,是否能打动人、感染人。“题材很好,可惜没有拍好。”这是我们常常听到的一些读者或观众对某些照片的批评。的确,现在绝大多数的摄影工作者对照片的题材和内容比较注意,这是完全正确的,必须竖持。但有一些同志则不大注意或不大讲究表现手法和造型技巧,拍出来的照片往往是平平淡淡,感人不深,即上面所讲的“题材很好,可惜没有拍好”。这里,举两张照片为例。一张题为“里弄妇女大战钢铁”,另一张题为“家庭妇女炼铁”。这两张照
