在改革开放的时代背景下,市场经济体制的建立和完善,国民观念的更新变化,恰似潮涌,直接波及到党史刊物的生存方式。创新前进,还是僵化而被淘汰,严峻的现实向我们提出了生死存亡的挑战。党史刊物如何最大限度地走向社会,已成为一个不可回避的问题。虽然近几年来全国各级党史刊物的数量,从宏观角度看,是建国以来最多的时期,但从微观角度看,党史刊物与其它刊物相比,却普遍存在着读者群少的状况,普遍存在着征订难销售难的状况。
