一般认为,阅读和写作之间存在着相互促进的关系.但实际上不乏这样的情况:有的学生阅读量很大,作文却写不好。这就不免使人产生这样的疑问:是否任何方式的阅读都能促进写作?是否任何方式的写作都能促进阅读?我们曾对“华东六省一市中学生作文比赛”的一百五十七名获奖者和上海市九所中学的一千九百四十一名学生作了调查,发现中学生的阅读水平大致可以分为两个层次.(见下表):
It is generally believed that there is a mutual promoting relationship between reading and writing. However, there are actually many situations in which some students read a lot and the composition is not well written. This inevitably raises the question of whether any form of reading can promote writing, and whether any form of writing can promote reading? We used to have 157 of the “Eastern Six Provinces and One City Secondary School Composition Competition”. The winners and 1,941 students from Shanghai’s nine middle schools conducted a survey and found that the reading level of middle school students can be roughly divided into two levels (see the table below):
