黄肉罐桃是国内外市场的紧俏品,但在我省却是空白。为充分利用我省桃树生产的优势,发展商品生产,我所从1979年开展了罐桃的品种选育工作。七年来从引进的114个罐桃品种(包括罐藏和生食兼用品种)中筛选出来几个适应我省生产的罐桃良种,其中“明星”桃为佼佼者,1985年在省农科院通过技术鉴定。来自省内的果树栽培、果品加工、农业和商业部门的专家们一致认为:“明星”桃栽培性状优越,罐藏性能好,成品质量高,具有罐藏桃“黄肉、粘核、不溶质”的特色,填补了我省黄桃生产的空白,可加速大量发展,建立商品基地。现将试验结果报告如下:
