1974年10月下旬的一天,中国卫生代表团圆满结束了对越南民主共和国的友好访问,回国了!代表团里一位女青年,眼里闪烁着激动而又幸福的泪花。她,就是河北省南宫县垂杨公社田家集大队党支部副书记,赤脚医生侯兰伏。经过无产阶级文化大革命和批林批孔斗争的锻炼,侯兰伏成长为农村卫生革命的先进战士。她九年如一日,全心全意地为人民服务,贫下中农爱戴她,学习她的思想,赞扬她的事迹,都说“她有一颗火红的心。”
One day in late October 1974, the Chinese health delegation successfully concluded its goodwill visit to the Democratic Republic of Vietnam and returned to China. A young woman in the delegation gleamed with tears of excitement and happiness. She is the deputy secretary of Tianji Commune Tianji Commune Brigade Party branch of Nangong County, Hebei Province, barefoot doctor Hou Lanfu. After the proletarian cultural revolution and the campaign of criticizing Lin and Kong holes, Hou Lanfu grew into an advanced warrior in the rural health revolution. She serves her people wholeheartedly every nine years. The poor and middle peasants love her, learn her thoughts, praise her deeds, and say, “She has a fiery heart.”
