仿佛一夜之间,“全球化”(Globalization)突然变成了一个流行名词。“全球化”理论的兴起无疑与以下现象相关:由于交通工具和信息传输网络的发达,地球日益变成了“地球村”;全球经济被编织进相互依赖、相互影响的网络之中;跨国公司、非政府组织日益在国际事务中发挥重要作用;因特网构筑了一个庞大的全球共享的虚拟世界;大众文化工业在生产类似的流行趣味;资本在全球的流动……一种全球趋同的局面正在形成。无论是发达的欧美国家,还是发展中的亚非拉国家,全都被襄挟到一种全球体系中。这个体系是一个弱肉强食的系统,如果不能摆正自己的位置,很可能会陷入“人为刀俎,我为鱼肉”的可悲境地。
As if overnight, “Globalization” suddenly became a popular noun. The rise of the “globalization” theory is undoubtedly linked to the phenomenon that the Earth has increasingly become a “global village” due to the development of transport and information transmission networks; the global economy has been weaved into networks of interdependence and interaction; and multinational corporations, Non-governmental organizations are playing an increasingly important role in international affairs; the Internet has created a huge global shared virtual world; the popular culture industry produces similar popular tastes; the global flow of capital ... a global convergence is taking shape. Both the developed countries in Europe and the United States and the developing countries in Asia, Africa and Latin America are all entangled in a global system. This system is a system of law of the jungle. If we can not position ourselves, it is very likely that we will fall into the tragic ground of “human being, knife and fishes.”
