1959年南茶北引以来,在山东种植成功,为满足人民需要,1982~1984年经山东省科委批准,由临沂地区科委组织技术鉴定,进行丁高档绿茶——“沂蒙碧芽”的试制,亦获得可喜的成果。1984年“沂蒙碧芽”成品经安徽农学院茶业系王镇恒付教授、陈慧春讲师审评,认为:“沂蒙碧芽”条索紧结钩曲,有锋苗,较匀整;嫩度较嫩(以一芽一叶为主),色泽暗绿色,稍有白毫,净度净;香气嫩香稍带青气,较高长;汤色浅黄带绿;滋味尚醇和;叶底较匀嫩,绿色,夹有少数青叶。
