一九八六年恰为谢侠逊先生诞辰一百周年,依我国九九祝寿之习惯,去年在上海已举行了隆重的为谢老祝寿的活动。现选注几首谢老的棋友、已故的棋谱收藏家、棋史研究家周家森先生的赠谢棋诗,以示余庆。 据近期出版的《谢侠逊与象棋》一书载:周先生所藏之手抄秘谱,曾提供给谢老收入《象棋谱大全》一书之中。可见两人的交谊是深厚的。然而据周诗所示,两人曾长期神交未得谋面,周于民国十八年(即一九二九年)为《象棋谱大全》题词中写道:“薄艺同 Just for the centenary of the birth of Mr. Xie Xiaxun in 1986, according to the habit of using our nine-year birthday in our country, last year, a grand celebration of the birthday of Mr. Xie was held in Shanghai.
