Objective: To investigate the auditory neuropathic patients with 80Hz auditory steady-state evoked potential characteristics and auditory brainstem response potential V wave correlation. Methods: The difference of auditory evoked potentials (80 Hz) and auditory brainstem response (ABR) at 80 Hz between auditory neuropathy group and normal control group was compared with 95 dBnHL of 1000 Hz short tone. Results: The simultaneous evoked rate of two kinds of auditory evoked potentials in the auditory neuropathy group was 85.4% with low or very low amplitude. The Ⅰ and Ⅲ waves of ABR disappeared, while the 14.6% of the two evoked potentials disappeared simultaneously. The normal control group, the two simultaneous pull-out rate of 100.0%. Conclusion: The steady-state evoked potentials at 80 Hz have significant correlation with Ⅴ wave of auditory brainstem response.
